ChronX Protocol
Every parameter that governs ChronX — immutable constants, governed protocol parameters, and Essential Protocol Partner directives — is publicly visible here. No private decisions. No hidden rules.
Cannot be changed by any person, governance body, software update, or court order. Ever.

Adjustable by founding governance, recorded on-chain. All changes are permanent and publicly verifiable — and the power to change them sunsets on the clocks in the transition table.

Current operational limits for each bonded partner. Updated by founding governance vote.
The Transition
ChronX launches under a bounded founding arrangement. The founding authority is temporary by design — each power carries its own sunset, measured from the sealed genesis event, and the protocol enforces the clocks.
| Power | Who holds it today | Sunset | What remains after |
|---|---|---|---|
| Define and update the governed registry (the short list of living parameters) | Founding governance | 5 years from sealed genesis | Registry entries persist; Remove remains available. New Define/Upsert authority ends — the list can shrink, not grow by founding action. |
| Founder authority | Founder | 366 days from sealed genesis | Expires permanently. No renewal path for this power. |
| Emergency halt power | Founding governance | 1,096 days from sealed genesis | Expires. Ordinary participant governance continues without it. |
| The axioms, fixed supply, zero protocol fees | Nobody — sealed | No sunset | Immutable through the transition. Not changeable by any vote, body, or software update. |
Every lever the founding arrangement holds — and every lever it does not. Permanent. Transparent. On clocks that expire.
