Installing the ChronX Cashback Extension

The easiest way to install is from the Chrome Web Store — one click and you're done. Works on Chrome, Edge, Brave, or any Chromium browser.

The extension is listed on the Chrome Web Store (v1.0.0). Open the listing and click 'Add to Chrome'.

That's it — the ChronX icon appears in your toolbar. Shop on Amazon as normal; KX earnings happen automatically.

Manual install (advanced)

The Web Store install above is the recommended path. Manual install is only for testing a specific build.

Caution: bypassing Chrome's warning is safe only for builds downloaded from chronx.io. Never install an extension ZIP from any other source.

Click the download icon (↓) in your Chrome toolbar. Chrome may show a warning for direct ZIP downloads — this is expected.

Click 'Keep' or 'Keep anyway' to proceed.

In Chrome, go to: chrome://extensions

Or click Menu (⋮) → Extensions → Manage Extensions

Toggle on 'Developer mode' in the top-right corner of the extensions page.

Drag and drop the downloaded ZIP file directly onto the Chrome extensions page. The extension installs instantly.
